Roundel is one of the UK’s leading independent brand identity and
communications companies.
Mac Consultants provide In-house support for all of Roundel's IT and
telecommunication requirements on a weekly basis. This consists of
day-to-day system and software support and training for users, OSX
Server – File Server, Mail Server, LDAP Directories, Backup and
archive management, Service provider audits and migrations and
acting as Roundel’s IT representatives.
Sheppard Day Associates Ltd
A top 25 design agency specialising in corporate communications
and marketing communications for luxury brands.
Mac Consultants provide full In-house support and consultancy for
all of Sheppard Day’s IT and Telecommunication requirements on a
weekly basis. In addition to this all of Sheppard Day’s new media
services are managed by Mac Consultants. New Media solutions have
included Websites, Content Management systems, CD-Roms, Asset
Management systems and Interactive presentations for clients such as
Associated British Foods, Advertising Standards Authority, Bunzl,
Ramco, Island Oil and Gas, Sottini and Bathaus.
Reef Communications Ltd
Reef Communications Ltd is a multi-discipline design consultancy
based in Surrey who have recently moved into new studios.
As part of the office move Mac Consultants installed a Category 5
Ethernet and secure wireless network, along with broadband and
telecommunication solutions. In addition to this all Macs were
upgraded from OS9 to OSX 10.4.2 and the existing workflow was
smoothly migrated to OSX.
Server, RAID and Asset Management solutions are currently
work-in-progress.
Since the CLC launch in October 2002 a wide range of Lambeth
pupils, parents, teachers, teaching assistants, learning mentors,
education staff and community leaders have used the centre's IT
facilities and have developed new skills as a result. The centre has an Apple Macintosh suite mainly comprising of
iMacs and iBooks centrally controlled by an Xserve. Mac Consultants
configured the OSX server to allow the students to have roaming
accounts and the IT Managers to have complete control over user
accounts and permissions. In addition to this workstations can be
updated or restored using network disk images.
