Support
Having in-house support is invaluable; familiarity of systems,
workflows and
users ensures that maintenance, troubleshooting
and consultancy are carried out
as efficiently as
possible,
keeping the productivity of your workflow at its best. Regular
visits, usually one day-a-week
or fortnightly, will aim to address
all troubleshooting and support issues that
users may have.
More importantly it will also allow for maintenance, optimisation,
consultancy,
workflow, training, administrative tasks and cost
saving audits.
In some instances it may be necessary to employ a full time
IT manager to be
readily available for many of the day-to-day IT
issues. If this is the case then
regular
consultancy visits, usually
fortnightly or monthly will ensure that the IT manager
is set
objectives and tasks, has access to free advice and support, is
trained and developed
and has
additional hands-on-help during
busy periods as well as all the other advantages
of having
an
external consultant.
